Oh boy... !!!! Cannes ??!! Cannes ??!!!!  That's even in my reach ! If Cillian will be there too I might take a little trip to France ! ;D Besides this it's quite an honor for a movie to be shown at the Cannes Fesitival ! So "Retreat" must be a movie of good quality.  |

If you make that trip, you must tell us all about it!! And yes, a film being screened there is usually a good sign that it's worthwhile! I'm hoping there are some good twists and turns, because the trailer appears to give away most of the plot, lol. Even if it does, I will still see it.  And I'm hoping for a US release so I can see it in the theater... hopefully in one close to me so I don't have to drive 60 miles like I did to see Sunshine.  |

My boyfriend just told me driving to Cannes (train or car) would take about 14 hours !! So it's not that much in my reach as i thought (I'm bad in geographie... so I thought Cannes is quite near LOL) He also told me he won't take a trip to Cannes just because of an actor....  He understands NOTHING !!! But maybe Retreat will be also shown at the Locarno Film Festival (that's in Switzerland ) *is daydreaming* |

sorry for the double post but here is something I found. I think it's one of the producers (location scouting) last year for this movie. It's the house in Wales. That's interesting, Disarm! Quite a scary house... or should I say rustic. And... very messy. LOL That... toilet....  oh boy... It is very big and has many rooms. Perfect for that kind of thriller like Retreat. Many rooms to hide  Can't wait to see Cillian running through those rooms. |

Hey, there's the Mac I'm on right now, moonlighting. Hi, Mac! ... but, hmm, I wonder if Thandie's trying to do anything Inter-netty in that scene. If she is, then she must be using Airport SUPER-Extreme. (In the trailer, they show Cillian trying to call for help using a shortwave set-- which implies that there's no phone service on the island. [Not that modern Apple laptops still have internal modems, either: they don't.] So, if Thandie's surfing the 'net to check the Chances of Viral Apocalypse tab over at Weather-dot-com, she would have to have a G3/G4 network dongle plugged into that Macbook, in one of the USB ports just south of the power cable... and I'm not seeing one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know: SHUT YOUR TRAP, OH PICKER OF NITS! ) |

Anitnelav-I'm so confused. I've search everywhere, but I also don't know much about Cannes so I'm sure that explains the confusion.
Since I have a hard time linking twitter pages now, I search Carl Tibbetts twitter and found his page, but I can't post it. There is a tweet that was made today....looks like the 12th and the 15th for the screening dates. The times are mention as well. BUT you will have to check this out yourself because it might not be the real Carl and I might be reading the screening dates wrong:/
