Audience is at his feet¡¡¡¡ Hats off to him on most reviews¡¡¡ And deservingly so! It's a demanding role, both physically and mentally, it requires strenght, precision, perfect timing and a ton of presence.

Just screwed on my nasty head as I promised in the photo thread... ;D Just to bring the conversation from the Photo Thread back to here in the Misterman Thread... yes the Daily Mail, nice one Quentin Letts There's a THICK LINE separating critical reviews and skewed, blatant nobbery. I'm not saying Misterman should be to everyone's taste but to use the words "pretentious" TWICE at Enda Walsh and the play in general and refer to the "clevercloggs" in the audience who get the humour etc. obviously Quentin is referring to his own lack of intelligence and sensitivity here. It annoys me that folk like him get paid to write such crap and get away with it. I HATE tabloid anyway... and as for the mention of Y-Fronts.... I'm sure you didn't even pay for your ticket so stop whining Mr Quentus Wet Lettuce *put's back her AK 45 carefully in the cupboard*

Lots of "clevercloggs" in the audience because most people were laughing their head off.................he probably doesn't get it. The Daily Mail is already in my black book, it's not a huge surprise for me they hired such a person.

Just a quickie. Enda Walsh said Misterman is going to Sydney.
I will be back on Saturday to gush about it. And him.
Cillian looks like a 12 year old with a beard. So boyish. I'm going again tomorrow. Just has to be done.
Oh Zombie, Row E is perfect. We were in E for Enda's platform.

Ahhh Bunnie! I hope it comes your way! You never know! I couldn't go to the platform I didn't want to risk making this chest infection worse and I certainly didn't want to share it with anyone!

yeah, but I tried SO HARD to go to New York, but I was about to go in for surgery and none of my friends wanted to go with me...and now that Misterman is being performed in countries far away where I'd have to save all my money JUST to get a passport to go....kind of makes me depressed...

Still in London. Will when I get back. He said Misterman made him seriously ill but it was okay to subject his best friend to it because 'he deserves it' - and he chose to direct because he missed him and wanted to spend time with him. So much stuff of interest he said. He did say "I think Sydney" so it's not 100%.

Leyla, I thought you were going to post the link to The Guardian's Misterman review, but since you've put the link on fb and not in here, there you go...this is THE REVIEW, in CAPS. "And Murphy, myopically fixated on the invisible characters around him yet conveying the romantic vision of a seer, keeps us mesmerised."www.guardian.co.uk/stage/2012/apr/19/misterman-reviewMisterman touring? That's great news! Yes, tell us as soon as you can all about Enda Walsh said about¡¡¡
