Ah it sounds amazing. Thanks for your descriptions guys. I love that you met that Japanese girl who was also a huge fan, again showing how far Cillian's reach stretches. Did you tell her about the forum!? Actually, she spoke very little English! We thought it was incredibly brave of her to come all the way from Japan to London by herself and not knowing much English... to see Misterman. She mentioned she had read the play before because it was very hard for her to understand, but it was quite difficult to communicate, I don't think she can read English. She was awesome, by the way, I'm not sure I would have been as brave That is incredibly brave! I woldn't even go to London to see it by myself and i'm only across the pond! Fair play to her, hope i get as courageous as her at some point in my life! I'd love to just up and move to Sweden for a year or so......

Yeah, but then I would go immediately back stage and just wait there....all night...until he came out. Seriously, I've got excellent patience for things like this. I waited for 3 hours to see my idol since I was like 3. ...then I'd ask him if we could make beautiful children together--oh wait, did I say that out loud? *blushes* I just want to see this play SO bad...and I want all my peeps to go with me so they can see him shining...

Never time has passed by soooo slowly...In the meantime, here you have another awsome review for Misterman, wich only increases my hunger to see it. viewofthearts.com/2012/04/16/misterman-review/mmtheatrereviews.blogspot.com.es/Read on twitter (which provides loads of info about the theatre goers about Misterman): Peter Graystone þ @petergraystone It's only 24hsr since the #Olivier2012 Awards and I think we may already have seen next year's winners - Cate Blanchett and Cillian Murphy. Wright @brndnwrght #Misterman was bewildering, terrifying & horrifically funny. Cillian Murphy was brilliant. @feathersohollow #Misterman @nationaltheatre was a fantastic portrait of a descent into madness. Cillian Murphy both hot and a great actor. @crobertsss For a one man play to get a standing ovation makes Cillian Murphy the most AMAZING actor on the planet♥ and he got changed on stage ♥♥♥♥♥ @bengoldsmith90 Did I tweet about Misterman the other night? I don't think I did. Cillian Murphy. A deserved standing ovation. @nationaltheatre @cressidaj Astounded, moved and shaken by the amazing Cillian Murphy in Misterman @nationaltheatre @revstan Wow that's performance + half from Cillian Murphy. Incredible how 1 man can fill such big stage. Gotta love Jammie Dodgers from heaven too @gg_Tlhomelang Cillian Murphy is epic. I'd like to see him as more of a lead actor. @lilmsrandom Misterman is an incredibly innovative production and very intense. Cillian Murphy is an amazing actor. Go see. @nationaltheatre @surrealthing Tour-de-force performance from Cillian Murphy in Misterman at National Theatre - well worth catching

Dulcemirita, thanks for all the reviews and the snippets from Twitter! CB for you By the way, I don't agree with the second review saying the play needed a small space. I think it completely misses the point. The big empty space helps Thomas tell his story, it's almost a symbol of Inishfree, if you compress the space and make it claustrophobic you'll never get the same effect!

Wow those really are stunning pictures. He looks so deep in the role and he does look worn out- in a good way, as i'm sure it's part of the character.

Well, there is who thinks that Cillian should get a kind of award for the best use of the Lyttelton stage. There are mixed reactions about the design of it, but as said in here: he could run the full length of the stage, literally disappearing into the dark corners right at the back wall and then also wildly fling objects around as part of his portrayal of Thomas Magill.theatre.revstan.com/2012/04/mister-killing-it-murphy.htmlI'm more than intrigued, I can't wait any more to witness such a performance¡¡¡

The play is magnificent and inspiring! One review says a certain part of the dialogue where Thomas is describing an Edenic place "An unnecessary collaboration" is beyond me! I mean the play's foundation is the state of the man's mind and Enda writes it perfectly. Thomas MaGill's hopes and ideals are paramount to the story so how can someone justify that "unnecessary collaboration" is totally missing the concept! I do balk at some of these reviews and often wonder how dense these critics are. Also, huge YES with Leyla about the size of the stage, it works, Cillian's performance is too powerful to confine his energy to a wikkle space and so is Enda's writing. How very dare they diss Enda's story! The story line twists and turns. It's like complaining that a roller coaster ride is not painted the right colour! Most of us have seen huge productions both theatre and on film with scratchy plots that get away with shimmering reviews... meh.

I think the first 2 rows aren't very....safe. You might as well get hit by flying debris because it tends to be....rather physical you're going to be delighted by the joyful smashing of objects on stage! It's like watching a 2-year-old tossing his toys through the room!
