If I wasn't a stay at home mom, I would definitely max out the credit card and cross the pond to see the play. We share funds, so that's not fair to my boyfriend if I spent it all and put us deeper in debt. Especially since it would be going towards seeing Cillian. Oh wow , it scares me just thinking about it. He's not a big fan, haha. But yes to those who can go, don't miss this chance!!!!!

I am in the same boat as you Disarm. I am also a stay at home mom but if I was not I would so be there! ;D I have already told my hubby that is this play goes anywhere in the US or Canada I am going no matter what! LOL!! Not to mention now it is just to late for me to go. Having to get a passport and all.  You are going to the last show Ikklehen. That is so awesome!! You will have to let us know if you see him after the show and if he shaves of that beard like he did after the last performance of Love Song. ;D  |

Because it's just.... pfft!... and we're gone. Just like that. I hear ya (my mum passed in 2005 as well - sucky year, huh?). Mum used to say "You wanna dance, you gotta pay the band." I danced and danced all through my 20's and 30s and now that band bill has come DUE.  Besides, being married and all, it's not just my money anymore. Hence, my newfound (and not enjoyable) sense of responsibilty regarding fundage. LOL. I love Cilly but I can't lose my house over him. Drat. Would have been there in a heartbeat. Side note: Where's Razz been lately? She's of the Emerald Isle herself - went to that Q&A in May... can't imagine she'd miss this play! |

Please do!! I know just what you mean about wishing you could go with someone though - shared experiences are always so much more special. If there's something I really want to do and no one I know is interested, I will typically still DO it, but damn, it's a lot more fun when you share the memory with someone, huh? I'm not an autograph-hound either, lol. I've met a couple celebs in my life, and neither time did I let on that I knew who they were. It was TOO cool to just have a "normal" conversation with the person/s (one of these encounters happened at the race track, and we groused together about not having any winners that day). The guard comes down, suddenly words flow as smoothly as baby oil, and all is wonderful.  CAN'T WAIT to hear about this!! Just pretend I'm there with you.  |

Ohhhh Ikklehen... I'm so sorry I can't go with you...  f*ck it's just not fair... Missing something so great, so remarkable hurts me really bad... I wish beaming was already invented... I understand completely what you mean about being alone and therefore not having the gutts to start a conversation. Together with other people it's always easier. I'm a very shy person and I absolutely understand you. But maybe you meet there someone from the forum who also goes on the 24th... Or maybe you just stick on some other fan and together you can go for a little conversation with Cillian. I really hope you find someone who goes with you... |

I remember Razz saying she had to work during the weeks of the play, trying to save for school. She must be really busy, I miss having her around. Maybe she changed her mind and decided to go to the play.

It is gnawing away at me, because I actually DO have enough money right now to fly to Ireland, and see this play...but my savings are for college, which I start in September. I've actually thought about just saying "f*ck it!, I'm going!", but I know it wouldn't be wise. As much as I love Cillian, I need to hang onto my money. My next big trip will have something to do with Cillian, though, I'm going to start saving once my tuition is paid for the year!

Here is a new article about Misterman. It somewhat goes into detail about parts of the play, so thats up to you if you want to read it or not. some people have different views on what spoilers are. I'd quite happily have a random conversation with him about theatre and stuff because it's common ground but I won't have a shockingly delicious report of going wobbly at the knees over him (though it would be ace!) I guess I'll be back on here gushing about the performance though which will be good ;D
