I was using the chatsite I use sometimes and I was talking to this Irish guy... and well I was a bit giddy and told him how much I love Ireland and I ended up telling him I like Cillian...
His reaction??

Ahhh Blue noooooo! I think it's cute! I'm waiting on ye  there's nowt creepy about hooking up through friends! Now, personally I find dating sites creepy, I joined one for about two days once & loads of blokes contacted my page, it was worse than going to a bar with mates where you only get hassled by one or two men. Amazing how much more confidence and or desperation people have in these dating sites! Too much attention for my liking... eeeek!!! DELETE PROFILE LOL ;D I'm curious as to see your teacher! Mr. Scones I shall call him.  |

Ahaha! Okay, that is very good. Oh I know. Those dating sites scare me. Far to many strangers trying to contact you at a time. Frightening, seeing as though ever since you were a kid you're told DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS. Hah, I guess people are more confident because you don't meet the person beforehand. There's no hassle of trying to strike up a conversation or blindly meeting. XD
Mr. Scones? That is a great name! oh, I think I know exactly what will happen when I tell him about you. His face will get really red and he will say, "S-Sophie you should watch what you put on the internet." And then he will look at me with distaste, but secretly I'm sure he is jumping for joy. ;D

Well, one of my hobbies is making subtitles to the movies I really like (why I started doing that is another story) and my dad usually helps me with that. We've been working on Batman Begins recently and I couldn't hide my smile when Cillian appeared on the screen.
Dad just looked at me and said: "Wait, are we really doing subtitles to the movie just because a weird guy with a burlap mask over his face?" And he started calling Cillian "Scarecrow".
Ever since that evening, everytime I mention Cillian, dad goes: "Cillian who? Oh....the Scarecrow guy."

Few days ago I was chatting with my friend in FB, and by babbling about Cillian Murphy like all the time and in every turn, I finally revealed her my newly infected Cillian-addiction... So I also sent her one of the most gorgeous photos of Cillian and she was like: "OMG those eyes -- just UNBEARABLY adorable..!!! Oh for f*ck's sake - is that even a human?? ...So beautiful and handsome and *eeek* -- all at the same time!"  And oohh, I was sooo glad about her reactions! She seems to be the only person in my life right now who seems to get this serious obsession of mine, and taking it this well - and even supporting it. |
