I think he would do great as Westley in "The Princess Bride" (my ALL TIME favorite movie ever!). I can just imagine him stairing into Buttercup's eyes saying " As you wish." Oh, those eyes.

^Haha, I love that movie. "Inconceivable!" My favorite movie is Fight Club. I can't really see him as Tyler, but I think he'd make a decent Jack. I think I'll keep Ed Norton in that role though (gotta give Ed some love too).

Ed was absolutely perfect as the Narrator! (Sorry, devout Ed fan and Fight Club fan here.) Heh. Anyway, yeah, I agree, quackattack, Cillian would definitely make a better Narrator than a Tyler. Cillian's better at playing geeky losers. Hmm... my favorite movie as of right now is The Painted Veil (no surprise here), but I think Ed's pretty much perfect as Walter. (Yeah, biased much, Rukia? ) If I had to replace Cillian in an Ed movie, I would probably choose Primal Fear. Cillian would nail the role of Aaron Stampler, for sure, no doubt. He might even be better than Ed, I daresay.

OMG bookworm you're right! I never thought about him playing Westley before but now that I think about it he'd be amazing! I think someone else already posted this but he would have been terrific as Death in Meet Joe Black. Brad Pitt was pretty hot but Cillian would be even better (of course)!

(Great minds think alike...*nudge nudge*) P.S. My mom was creepin and saw the pictures of Cillian and said, "Who's that? He's cuuuuute!!!!!"

Uhhg, my parents would probably tey to put me in to a mental facility if they know I was obsessing over someone. They tend to be a little nutty....
I had another brainwave and thought how amazing Cillian would be as a Sith Lord in Star Wars. I'm not sure he could do Anakin better than Hayeden *sigh* ;D, but he could do the creepy evil/hot look well!

Fight Club wouldn't NEARLY be as good with out Ed This is hard...a lot of my favorite films have Cillian in them already I'll get back to this.

I think he'd be hot as Landon in A Walk to Remember. I agree with bookworm that he would have done a great job in the Princess Bride!

I know it's a book, not a movie, but every time I'm reading Year of Wonders I picture him as the perfect Michael Mompellion.

damn straight. Fight Club wouldn't NEARLY be as good with out Ed You said it. Even though people say that Brad's so hot and so good in it... pssh, Ed stole the show definitely! To get back on subject, I don't know if anybody's mentioned it before, but I think Cillian would be perfect as Norman Bates in Psycho although Anthony Perkins was pretty good already. I've never seen the 1998 version, but Vince Vaughn seems to be miscasted for the role of Bates. And I notice that everyone else seems to be picking nice, lovey-dovey roles for Cillian, and I keep on picking the creepy, crazy ones. Heh. Sorry! He just plays creepy roles so well!

^That's okay. Creepy roles and movies are fun.
For anyone who's seen Rocky Horror, Cillian would make an excellent Frank-N-Furter. Hey, he's done transvestite before!

I was thinking the same thing Rukia! Psycho is one of my favorite movies and I loved Anthony Perkins as Norman ;D but I think Cillian would have been a MUCH better choice than Vince Vaughn ugh I don't like him.

Can you believe that there are some people who have never seen Rocky Horror? Can you believe that....sadly....I am one of them? I've always wanted to see it, though, and I don't know why I haven't!!! What's wrong with me? ??
