wanna hear some sad news? my mom and my cousin are going to Ireland the same time they are making the movie... I cant go cause i cant afford it.. too much $$, i would go in a heartbeat... im so infuriated, my mom is going to be there, and is goign to be in the area...and not me!

Seems that Cillian will be reuniting with both Brendan Gleeson and Stephen Rea yet again for this film. YAY! I'm thinking the incomparable Mr. Gleeson will be portraying, perhaps, the British politician Patrick (Cill) has an affair with at least that's whom I imagined whilst reading the book. That'll be interesting. Ooh, this sounds oh-too-good!

A very small tidbit:

BOP is Movie of the Day at BoxOfficeProphets

The blurb is unchanged, I think. I have no idea how "Movie of the Day" is determined but publicity is publicity. I did notice a while back that Cillian and 28DL were on several of the lists for their so-called 'Calvin' awards and I think it was a review there that said Colin Farrell was supposed to be the big star but CM steals the show in 'Intermission.' Maybe someone there likes him.

BTW, don't read the blurb if you don't want to know about the plot for BOP.


P.S. I like Stephen Rea,too. He's a very good actor and always 'watchable' even in not so good films IMO.

It began shooting on September 6th and Callan, Co. Kilkenny will be immersed in the crazed excitement of the film industry for a further 2 weeks before filming descends on Dublin, Wicklow and Belfast.

Jordan shooting Pluto in Northern Ireland

Irish filmmaker Neil Jordan starts filming scenes from 'Breakfast on Pluto' in Northern Ireland today.

The film began shooting last month in Callan, County Kilkenny and Jordan will now work in Glenavy and Belfast for the next three weeks.

Several of the stars were on set this morning including Cillian Murphy and Stephen Rea.

Neil said: "Liam has already done his scenes so he won't be here anymore."

Pat McCabe, author of Breakfast on Pluto, was also in Glenavy to watch early shooting. "I'm just here for a few days to see how things are progressing," he said.

Filming will continue tomorrow in the Library Street area of Belfast.

They seek him here, they seek him there..... I've been on the trail of Irish actor Cillian Murphy for the past few days - but our paths just never seem to meet!

The lovely Irish actor is in Belfast at the moment filming scenes for Neil Jordan's new movie Breakfast on Pluto - and I'm determined to get an interview.

Having missed him at Glenavy, where they began filming earlier this week, I was delighted to hear the cast had shifted to Little Donegall Street - right under my nose. But he still managed to elude me.

Next they moved to Salisbury Avenue in north Belfast, a five minute walk from my home. And I missed him again.

Second fire inside a week not in the film script

A Belfast coffee shop used as a movie location was closed today following the second fire in a week.

There were no cast or crew there last night as they have moved around the corner to Union Street, but customers at Frames had to be evacuated after the sprinklers went off.
