Oh I can't wait -- Cillian in a cowboy hat on a horse in disc 2 of TWWLN! Kind of difficult to picture right now. And something about the hat he wears in disc one (the cowboy hat?) looks a bit funny -- like it doesn't fit right or something.
paddykitten, I have noticed that he kisses in a specific way. I'm also noticing things that he does consistently in movies that are "him" vs. the role (like biting his lip). And, I assumed that the sideburns are his.

yeah, he purses his lips a lot, in almost every role... (like in OTE when hes listening to rachel talk before the "just wigglin" scene... i love you cillian, i think your fabulous and super talented... but bad habit, ;D haha) except, he didnt do it in BoP and i was really happy, (going to go into rant about how perfect everything about kitten is..)
the hat... he always has funny hats in his movies... OTE, GWAPE, damn, there was another one that i was thinking about, but i cant remember...

Well the hat in Cold Mountain was a bit funny (but the hoodie in 28 Days Later was cool).
And may I vent about Nexflix: I just got an e-mail telling me that they are shipping another movie instead of disc two of TWWLN, even though it was #1 in my queue. So, I will have to wait who knows how long to finish watching this thing. Very annoying.

Yes he does. He always grabs the face. I notice that too. Mmm, I would love to have those lips on my face. LOL!

I finally was able to finish watching TWWLN. (I ended up buying it because Netflix was being too slow in sending it to me.) I thought the last episode was very good and tied up the plot lines nicely. I was surprised that Mrs. Hurdle showed heart and lied to Hetta about what really happened with her and Paul at the seaside resort. I have a question, though: When Hetta is talking to Paul and breaks up with him, she says: "When you were making love to me...." I assume she meant acting as if he was in love with her versus what we think of as making love, right?

I am going to read the novel (on hold at the library) so maybe it will give more detail.

Good idea about reading the novel. I had no idea that we were supposed to think they had slept together until I heard Hetta say that. You'd think that the film/show would have at least shown something to indicate the true nature of their relationship (like it did with Paul's relationship with Mrs. Hurdle).

i love "the way we live now" Paul is such a sweet+nice charecter cept when he lies to his gf..but we can all forgive that Im sure.
I thought when she says "make love" I just thought she was talking about all the times he was with her, telling her how he feels about her...n nuthing physical...mebbe its just me
That scene where Georgiana( that's her name right?) says "I can't live with ur Jew children" I felt so bad for that guy...Guess we have come a long way from that . Phew
OMG, that scene where Paul and his friend are fighting for Hetta and his friend is like "I can give her wealth" blah blad and Paul says they should let her decide...well that was just plain awesome. How many times do u hear a guy say that...

^irishsmile, I agree with your interpretation of the "making love" comment. Maybe it was just a phrase of the time that obviously means something different now. I scanned some excerpts from the novel and saw the words "making love" in relation to Hetta and her cousin (Paul's friend, I forgot his name) and we know they didn't have a physical relationship. But, who knows. I guess I should read the novel.

I haven't been able to see this yet ... But, I did hear a paper presented at a Pop Culture Conference about it. Didn't mention Cillian specifically, but it did make me more interested than ever in seeing it.
