They usually start rolling in around 6:45. Generally, if they're running late-- which seems to be a little par for the course at this point in the run -- the watchphrase is, "See you after the show, okay--?" And here, thanks to Voice of Reason and a most splendid little Canon, are the photos: "You want one... solo?" he asked wryly. "Hey, only if she wants to be in another one--" said VOR, indicating She Who Doesn't Realize What a Freaking Hobbit She Really Is: Not sure what the black button was for, but the white one was a "Love Forever" knicknack relating to an exhibit of the works of Yayoi Kusama at the Tate Modern. Saw 'em on sale in the Tate gift shop. Gotta get going to the pits of Mordor. Later, all...!

Thanks soooo much as always Punctuator! lol! I hate the jacket on him. He would look so much better with a nice long black coat. Sleek, sexy, classy. That's how I like my men.

I was just thinking--
When I was in Toronto (punctuator, do you realize we've ALMOST met each other like three times now?) I was pretty sure he was the most gorgeous man alive.
...I didn't realize how much more adorable and wonderful he was until he didn't quite know what to say. *SWOON*

Double-post time! First of all--punctuator, were there not very many people around when you were there? It just doesn't seem like there was, and I didn't expect as many as were there when I was.
All right. Rather than starting my own thread about this, I'm going to just post in here.
I finally got to see the play! I think I'm really easy to please in regards to films and plays, so I thought this one was pretty good. There were a few "ehhh" parts, and a certain actress probably should look about getting a new job... but otherwise, I really liked it. Of course, I think I really liked it because of the acting. Cillian was brilliant (naturally), and Kristen and Michael were fantastic. I guess I just gave it away, but I think we already knew anyways.
Anyhow, I know you guys want to know about something besides that, though, so I'll tell you:
I got to see and speak (briefly) with Cillian Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday he seemed a bit overwhelmed (well, he did on Saturday, too), and he kept saying, "I really have to go, guys." That was the night that when he took off up the sidewalk I went in the same direction, just on the opposite side of the building, and we almost ran into each other on the corner. I'd started across the street and looked back and we spotted each other and I just smiled [and didn't fangirl] and just kept on walking.
OH! And on Friday I did notice that he had a book in his pocket, but I couldn't read the title and I was more drawn to his eyes than his book...
Saturday night was fun, and pretty amusing, actually. It was the closing night of the play and I was a little worried that he wouldn't be outside the stage door (he wasn't after the matinee or before the evening one), but luckily he did come out--and was the second one out the door! It was only probably about fifteen minutes since he'd been onstage taking the bow (they came back onstage four times!), but when he came out the side door, he'd shaved! Yes, my friends, Cillian is now officially facial hair-less! And gorgeous!
Anyways, I didn't take any photographs, but I was trying to be sneaky with my video camera, so as soon as I get home, there's a pretty good shot of him (shaved), and then I kept recording even while it was pointed down so you can hear him talking even though it's not pointed at him. I didn't mean to be a stalker--I was actually going to see if I could get him to say "Sunshine," but then forgot about it, LOL. Oh, and then when I was being a little bit of a weirdo on Friday I got him walking away for a split second.
Further details upon request. I just don't know how much you guys want to hear.
Anyways, that's that, and it was definitely worth it all! Even the fact that I missed my flight and now I'm here for an extra day!

HAH, yay way to miss your flight Amanda. I'm soo incredibly proud for you making it over to see Cillian in Love Song (in London!). The more the merrier. I love the fact that you say he shaved right after the last showing of the play! Yay to beardless Cillian, it was long enough. So did you get into talking to other fans while you waited by doors? And, when you ran into him and saw him, was anything really said? Or was it just you and your handy video camera? Haha: I was actually going to see if I could get him to say "Sunshine," but then forgot about it. If it would be any possability...would you...post any clips? Haha, we will all take what we can get.

HAHA, I know. But, I mean, whatever. An extra day in England isn't ALL bad... I talked to a few other people at the doors--a lot of them weren't actually Cillian's FANS, they were just, y'know, autograph collectors. Although, don't get me wrong--there were some fans, too! And I met a couple of people (one from the Sunshine Fan Forum) who seemed to really be big fans like all of us here. Now, do you mean on the corner? Because I didn't say anything to him or have my camera or anything then. I was about halfway across the street and had just glanced back to see if there were any cars coming and we spotted each other. And yes, I'll totally post what I've got! I just have to get home and put it on my computer first, LOL.

Wow... Lucky you!!! I have a ton of questions. sorry but many of us want to know as much as possible of our man...
1.Was he headed toward Covent Garden or Leister Square? because someone at john mayer's fan forum said she saw him at covent garden a few weeks ago headed outside. could not speak to him or get a camera.
2. what was he wearing?
3. what did you say/ what did he say to you?
4. was he uncomfortable or gracious
5. did he look tired/ excited/ relieved
6. any pics???
more later maybe...

Amanda-- re: "not many people": On the Tuesday and Wednesday we were there, we had him all to ourselves before the show. It was chilly (by London standards) and windy, which I guess didn't make for the best of stalker weather! On Tuesday, he was running late and asked us to come back after the show; on Wednesday (when we got those pictures), he came up talking on his cell phone; he saw us and apologized to whoever was on the other end and ended the call; much to our Midwesterny sputtery delight and amazement, he then apologized to US for not meeting us after the show the night before (which really was our fault, as we'd had tickets to "The 39 Steps" and were down in Piccadilly Circus when "Love Song" let out); and then he stayed outside and chatted with us for a time. Just us.... Friday night, though (henceforth to be known as Extended Handshake Night [add silent bliss and suppressed fangirling to taste]), there was a smallish herd of fan-types before and a larger gaggle of same after the show. Understandable, I guess: weekend audiences tend to be larger than midweek ones. (Or so my dayside acquaintances tell me...!
