Actually, I was very nervous. Can you tell from when I was talking to him at the end? I've gotten better since I saw him in Toronto last September, and then, of course, I was a lot less nervous on Saturday than I was on Friday. It has a lot to do with mindset, though. You kind of have to try really hard to just focus and realize that they--he--is just a person, too! He's just a regular guy who happens to be good at acting (and isn't too bad looking, either).
I think my level of nerves, however, sort of equates just to meeting someone new. You're always afraid of what to say and how you'll give off a first impression and everything. Plus, it's a lot more nerve-wracking when you're in a group. In a group there's just a lot more energy and adrenaline and everything. I was shaky a bit, yeah, but it wasn't terrible, and I think it was mostly because of the adrenaline, like I said. Especially since I was there, you know, on a mission to get his autograph for my friend and I'd be extra disappointed if I didn't get the chance.

I couldn't actually tell that you were nervous. You seemed pretty confident on the recording. Which just goes to show that everyone is just as nervous as you in these situations but people are good at hiding it. I was incredibly nervous. I must say it helped that I kept my focus on his beard! It's a big deal meeting someone who you really admire and fancy and you know a lot of other people feel the same way too. I didn't want him to think I was a sappy idiot. So I was kind of ultra cool and kept it brief. I couldn't actually bear to talk to him any more than a couple of minutes because I was so nervous, which is weird because I'm confident in all other aspects of life. What made it hard was that he looked a bit uncomfortable with being famous and he had a kind of jaded look in his eyes but he was still trying to be polite, professional and nice to anyone. When he couldn't do that thing for me and I looked really disappointed he was extra nice, which shows that he's kind of a normal, sensitive person and not a thick skinned celebrity type.

Thanks so much for the video! I have to admit, the part that you slowed down, was a bit creepy at first. Very "stalkerish" LOL. Just kidding... it was nice to have a good look at that beautiful, clean shaven face. *sigh*

AMANDA!! Gah! Ha, yes! You my dear are uber wonderful. Thanks a lot for posting the video on youtube! I definatly love love love how you slowed down when Cillian was on screen. It made it seem to last longer, yes. It gives us a better chance to take it all in. I think I caught everything he said, and his face was clean cut. No more beard indeed. Once again...thanks Amanda! CillyBar for you!

I saw it on the 16th February. I actually thought it was pretty amazing, I wanted to hug him, it sounded like he was just about to loose his voice, my friend and I had amazing seats so I had a great view. I went to the stage door after with my friend but I did not go up to Cillian, ask for a photograph or a picture. I had the chance, I was probably about a 1 cm away but I much prefered just being near him. There were quite a few people nosing around him and getting excited. Then I got the tube home, and I saw him later on, near the Subway near Shaftsbury avenue which was magical of course. Ohh he had on the nicest tan leather jacket, some cords and a slouchy put-accross you bag. And a giner beard!; it was beautiful!

Also, this is silly, but in the performance at the end someone went to take a picture as they were taking their bows (which was forbidden, there were signs on the way in) and Kristen Johnston wagged her finger and looked annoyed, and Cillian just looked tired and bored and kind of rolled his eyes. And then they disappeared pretty quickly which was unfortunate.

Cillian rolled his eyes! lol. He doesn't understand that people want to capture his beautiful face and treasure it forever!

Oh, yeah, I saw that. Kristen was very peeved, and I think Cillian was just really annoyed that people are so stupid. It was plastered EVERYWHERE not to take photographs, and you'd think it would be common decency, too...
