when i met him i was in heels... im 5'3, my heels were 2 in., and i still had to look up to him a fair amount... he looked 5'9 to moi PUUULLLEEZE tell us what it was like meeting him~~ ;D |

I like "whatsherface" as well..not katies biggest fan..they couldve found someone much better to play miss dawes!...but i go by what you have said: comparing to katie holmes who is 5 ft 9 and WAS wearing heels in BB..

He's 1 inch shorter that my love interest at school and 4 inches taller than me, not many people are shorter than me...

I have another piece of evidence to add to the Cillian being 5'9" theory: In "28 Days Later", when Cillian is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Christopher Eccleston, Cillian looks to be about 3 inches shorter than Christopher, who is supposedly 6 feet tall. So, that would make Cillian around 5'9".

I still don't know about this. lol We need Tanya in here! She's met him and said that he was a little taller than her with heels. She's.....5'2"? Errr...something like that. I believe his shorter b/c Naomie in 28 Days Later was taller than him (not the other way around). I'm 5'2 and the shoes I wore made me about 5'5. He was about two to inches taller. |

Aye, IMDb says Naomie's 5'8". And she was like an inch taller than Cillian. So he must be around 5'7"... Kinda short, given I'm 5'8"...  |

i think it remains a mystery since i only get to (or ever will get to) see cillian in the movies or in my dreams, i shall stick with 5 ft 9...because i am 5 ft 6...and i also shall pretend he weighs over 150lbs, so he can weigh more than me..... and in a perfect world, he would have a bigger azz than me (only to make me feel better about my big ol tush!!) LOL |

The thing about him and Naomi is that she had kinda poofy hair if I remember and was also probably wearing shoes with more of a heal than he had, so that could have easily made her look more like 5'10" and him remaining at 5'9" ... maybe? Haha.

Why does everyone think Naomie was taller? She wasn't. Check out that scene in the field on the estate - where they're walking together, they stop, and she pecks him on the cheek unexpectedly. She has to crane her neck up, and tilt her head to kiss him. Same thing at the end of the film when they're sharing the bloody kiss - she's not taller.
5'9" it is people.

Based on seeing him next to Bono at the BOP premiere & Rachel at the RE premiere, I still say he's closer to 5'6, maybe 5'7 on a good day. |

I agree with Lulu. Maybe because I prefer short men! 5'6" or 5'7" is just about perfect for me.

, which is why when she's in a heel she towers over him. I think I've read that Holmes is 5'9" (not as tall as his ex, Nicole Kidman at 5'10" but tall) - so if she had heels on in Batman too - that's the reason she appeared a lot taller than Cillian. They are probably the same height in stockinged feet.
