Ohh, I just saw Narnia too. I really liked it (9/10), but I am a bit of a nerd about those books/films at times. I am soo exited for Indiana Jones! It is coming out on Thurday! I get to see it at the drive in! YAY!

That's cool bookworm! ;D I want to go see it too and so does my mom. She love's all the Indiana Jones movies. Maybe I can persuade her to take me to go see it. I'm watching Rear Window right now. I give it 8.5. I like Hitchc*ck's movie's and Psycho's my favorite. ;D

Prince Caspian 8.5/10 Gonna start off saying I haven't read the book (I'll get there though... Starting The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe sometime this week). I enjoyed the movie though. However, I couldn't help thinking of The Princess Bride when Caspian confronted his uncle. ("Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.")

Haven't seen the new Narnia yet, but it's good to hear that you guys like it. I really liked the first one! And here are the movies I saw this week: Baby Mama 4.5/10 Another outing with the girls, and this was what we ended up seeing. The story was pretty stupid, and it wasn't even funny at all! I really liked Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in Mean Girls, but this one was not even half as good. I was incredibly bored throughout the whole movie. Iron Man 8.5/10 I finally saw it, and it didn't disappoint! I haven't read the comics or anything, but I thought Robert Downey, Jr. was perfectly casted as Tony Starks. He was absolutely hilarious! Gwyneth Paltrow was also pretty good in her role. I would've loved to see Rachel McAdams as Pepper Potts though... I heard that she was the first choice for this role, but she turned it down. Too bad. I know it's not that big of a role or anything, but Iron Man turned out to be such a big hit that it could've sky-rocketed her career even more. Oh well. The Talented Mr. Ripley 8.8/10 This movie was excellent. Matt Damon was so young in this one but oh so brilliant! I love how he could look so normal and nice but be so disturbed inside. The rest of cast - Jude, Gwyneth, Philip, and Cate - were also terrific. I loved everything about this movie. The cinematography was beautiful, and the acting was top notch.

^^^ i usually enjoy the films that get bad reviews lol!!
the only problem i had with this film is that it was very slow at the beginning a big plus point is paul walker. Also the effects are awesome and a lot of it is filmed underwater which is really cool.

Oh yeah, Into the Blue, for a minute I thought you where talking about another movie. Yeah, I liked it, it had alot of action and some cool underwater scenes, and it's about treasure hunters how awsome is that? I don't know why it's reviews where so bad, I thought it was pretty good, especially compared to some other movies I've seen! It has an interesting story and Paul Walker is easy on the eyes. Jessica Alba's pretty too. You should go see it.

Eh, not much of a fan of Jessica Alba. She's eye candy for the guys, but that's about it. I have to admit she wasn't too bad in Awake though, but other than that, her performances aren't very memorable. Anyway, I saw... Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 7/10 It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't that great either. It's got a lot of action, that's for sure, but that's all. Not much plot, and not much of a story. I liked the old Indy's better; they had better stories.

I agree. I saw that movie in the drive ins and had a better time cuddling with my bf than watching the movie. I was not a fan of the whole alien thing. Nice try Harrison, but your glory days are over. (not that I don't thing he is one of the greatest actors ever.)

SATC too! I watched the show but only randomly. Not in order. I probably looked like i shouldn't have been there in my skinny jeans, biker style boots and check shirt but i enjoyed it! People were looking at me funny, probably thought i'd wandered into the wrong screen! I'd give it 7.5 out of 10. If you didn't like the show though you won't like the film!

I'm seeing Sex and the City tomorrow! Another girls' night out... I've only seen a couple of episodes here and there, but I enjoy its quirky humor, funny scenarios, and of course, the fashion! Hopefully, it'll be good.

Ok, so i FINALLY watched "Atonement." No one shoot me when I say I thought it was just ok. I think with all the hype I was expecting a masterpiece. I don't even think I cried...well maybe i did at the end...but i give it 7/10.
Then I rented "Raiders of the Lost Arc." I want my kids to see all the previous ones before we go to the theater to see the new one. That is a good flick- 9/10.
and lastly
Lonelly Hearts (Jared Leto). Again, ok. 7/10.

Ok Kaatop, this one is for you! Atonement I finally finished it, and I have to disagree with you pignme, I thougt it was amazing. Since I am an avid James fan, I might have been a little biased to begin with, but I thought it was very moving. It was not a "masterpiece", but those movies are so utterly rare and unexpected, I hardly expected that much. I did cry...alot. But I can't wait untill I can let the movie soak in and watch it again. (this time so I can just focus on James' face... )
