The Dark Knight 10/10
Wooooooooow! What a great movie! I liked that it was dark, and the characters were amazing. The whole tone of the movie was awesome! Plus...Cillian was in it! *dances* BTW...it was way super cool in IMAX. Great acting, great plot, and some really great twists and turns!
Yeah I kinda stink at reviewing movies...but there's my rate of TDK. ^^;

THE DARK KNIGHT
10/10 totally agree with ya their SingOutLoud!
SPOILERS:
Ledger did an amazin' job at playin' the Joker and Aron Eckhart was an awesome Harvey Dent! It was so much like the Frank Miller's graphic novel *jigs* So I was expectin' a lot of things but if I never had read the comics I bet I would be in tears the fact that so and so croaked but then didn't...XD. SPOILER! SORRY! It was an awesome film, the directing was brilliant with wide range of camera angles that made the film seem to be goin' a fast pace (unlike the first Incredible Hulk movie...UGH). And I liked the fact that Nolan kept the Batman villians so DARK so people could see just what Batman is up against. Next film will be Riddler. =^.^= YESH! Then the fourth I think is...Harley Quinn and Joker again. I wonder what they are goin' to do for the Joker now that Ledger has passed? And who would make a good Riddler? I think either David Hyde Pierce (Or he could play the Mad Hatter) and or David Tennant (cause he reallllly wants to play him in the next film)

Disco Pigs 8/10
It was a disturbing, sad, but good movie. Cillian was sooo young back then but already showing great signs of an excellent actor. His performance was brilliant, and the same goes with Elaine Cassidy's performance. They had great chemistry together. You really felt for Pig and Runt.

I think Pig is one of Cillian's best performances. He's so into it and it's scary at times....you can't work out what he's gonna do next.

Step Brothers 6/10 I hate Will Ferrell, but it was either this or Hellboy II. It wasn't that bad, it entertained me I guess. There were a lot more funny lines in there than in most Will Ferrell movies. John C. Reilly was also really funny. I just thought the plot lagged towards the end, and the humor was a little too stupid and vulgar for my liking. But not bad.

Pig's such a volatile and unpredictable character. I jumped when he punched the mirror in the men's restroom. Mamma Mia! Horrible movie, overly cheesey, acting was not the pick of the litter, singing was good but dubbed badly, story line wasnt that fantastic! really disappointed Aww, that's too bad. I absolutely LOVED the on stage musical. It was quite entertaining. Maybe it just didn't translate well into an actual movie. Hmm, whatever, I guess I'll just rent it when it comes out on DVD.

here is my review that i put on my myspace blog
The Dark Knight Review
First off, let us have a moment of silence for Heath. ... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... I will first start with how Heath made this role of the Joker. Absolutely Brilliant!!!! I must say, i was skeptical b/c i love Jack as the Joker but honestly, i think Heath blew him out of the water! His darkness that he brought to the movie was unbelieveable! His acting was amazing!
Now on to the movie in its self. Best Batman movie Ever made!!!! The writing, the screen play, the acting, the editing, the filming, every single thing about that movie was perfect!!!! If you have not seen "The Dark Knight" you have to see it while its in theater(which i figure will still be awhile) but to really enjoy the intensity and the action for the first time you have to see it in theaters!
I give this movie a 10 out of 10 *applause here*(colors brought to you by the Joker's design ) P.S. Cillian is in it for like a total of 1.5 minutes and only .5 of that you see his face! disappointing lol

Intolerable Cruelty by the Coen Bros. 9/10
I had no idea this film was by the Coen Bros until last night when I watched it on tv. I always thought this film was a bad romantic comedy or something but that is just not true! I loved it! It was very funny, quirky, well acted, unique and super entertaining. I have not seen that many Coen Bros movies but this was a great one and the more of their films I watch the more I realize I need to watch ALL of them! I definitely recommend this movie. Very enjoyable and goes by very quickly, which is refreshing, films are too long these days haha.

Funny Games (Original German version) 8.5/10
This was a pretty good, artsy and disturbing film. There were a few aspects to the film that annoyed me a bit, the viewer "loses", if you will, just like the main characters and that caused me to feel sort of toyed with (just like the main characters were) ... It's hard to say what I mean without giving away plot details. It is not that I am upset with unhappy endings or mean bad guys so much as I am annoyed by the cinematic "ploys" which the villains use in order to force a "win" of their game. Definitely disturbing though, a bit creepy, not really scary, definitely strange, the bad guys really know how to piss off the viewer.
I have the American version of Funny Games on request at my library so I will be able to compare the films shortly. I heard this newer version which came out not too long ago did not get such great reviews but I was interested to see it when I first saw the trailer for it. I did not even know there was an original German version until not too long ago. I think the German version however is pretty innovative, dark, unique with a very original plot line. I have seen a couple other films by this director, Michael Haneke, Cache and The Piano Teacher and those were both pretty f-ed up too. He is an interesting director to watch and Funny Games is definitely worth a view for someone who appreciates good and *different* foreign films. It really is a very good film with great lighting, music, camera angles, prolonged shots of once scene, etc. I really encourage anyone who might be curious to check it out.

I love Intolerable Cruelty! ;D It's hilarious! Goerge is brilliant in it....
And i really want to see Funny Games-the American one. Brady Corbet and Michael Pitt both look brilliant in it. And it'd probably freak the hell outta me...

Razz, Yes, I was just so surprised by Intolerable Cruelty, Clooney did a magnificent job. He really is a stupendous actor when working with the right directors in the right films. I want to watch it again since I was watching it on TV. I do not think much was edited out but I want to watch it in its purest form without commercials! And as far as Funny Games, my request for the American version is still "pending" according to my library account on line, but I cannot wait to see it. I thoroughly recommend you get both the German and the U.S. version and watch them side by side. The German version was really so fantastic, especially since it is the original. You get the idea and the story in its true form, not as a remake. However I am still stoked for the U.S. version, Michael Pitt, Naomi Watts AND Tom Roth, WOW, awesome cast. According to wikipedia, this remake "is a shot-for-shot remake of its predecessor, translated into English and with different actors." To me, that is awesome, I just learned that! Now you HAVE to watch it next to the German version! The original was so powerful, I am really excited to see this remake! In fact, after sitting on it for a few days I am changing my original rating of Funny Games from a 7 to an 8.5 out of 10. The more I think about this film, the more I feel wowed ... and the fact that I can't stop thinking about it means something very powerful happened in that film. I really hope you watch both versions!! OH and I LOVE your icon, I am OBSESSED with House and Hugh Laurie! Last night I watched: Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by one of my favorite German directors, Tom Tykwer. I'll give it at 7.99/10 It was a bit too long and dragged a bit in the beginning, but once it got going, it really got going. The story was told beautifully, the cinematography was stunning, the use of colors and light was just gorgeous. The story is also very intriguing and powerful and somewhat shocking and extremely original. This film is based on the book written by Patrick Süskind, written in 1985. I have not read the book but I am considering it now, my friend read it and loved it. It was recommended by her father who read it back when it was released and he loved it too. The ending is also rather shocking, the music is beautiful, it is just a very interesting sensory journey which is absolutely, definitely, worth a watch with a strong cast. I highly recommend it!

Yeah he's great in that film. Have you seen ads for the new Coen brothers film with Clooney and Pitt in it? It looks like it should be very entertaining as well! Yeah i'm gonna try and watch both of them sometime. I have such a pile of DVD's i've bought and not watched yet though! It's getting ridiculous! I have to stop buying before i've watched the others. I love when you see films like that....that stick in your head and you keep thinking about them. It's a mark of a great film! Oh and thanks! House is my favourite show ever! He's such a b*****d but you can't help love him and feel sorry for him, plus-he's so sarcastic and funny. ;D

Pretty Woman 7/10
It was on TV last night, and I was in the mood for a romantic comedy. I liked it; it was one of those typical feel-good romantic comedies where everything ends well. Richard Gere was sooo young but smooth as usual. Julia Roberts was adorable. Despite its premise of a hooker falling in love with her john, it was really nice and fluffy. It was definitely a Cinderella story. I've read that it was originally supposed to have a "darker" story. I think I would've liked to see this "darker" story; it probably would've been really interesting.

The Prestige 7.5/10 Not the first time I've seen it, but I enjoyed it. I did not predict the ending at all and the acting was great. Plus, you can't go wrong with David Bowie AND Christian Bale.
Office Space 8/10 Seen this before too. Love this movie and think it's so funny. Poor Milton and his stapler.
