LOL! Preaching to the choir....
I'm a big Jackson/Lisa shipper. Yeah, it seems soooo wrong, but you can't deny the chemistry between those two.
It makes you wonder at the beginning (when Jackson reveals himself) if the flirting was just part of the job or whether he was actually attracted to her. I almost think of Brad Pitt's character in Thelma and Louise. When he's telling Thelma about robbing people that "it doesn't have to be a completely unpleasant experience..." meaning you can still be charming and such. Maybe it was just fun on Jackson's part of knowing her past and flirting it up with her. A game.
Then through the rest of the film you really start to see that he is genuinely attracted to her.
The infamous bathroom scene....Cillian conveys enough to make you wonder if he really wants to do this to her. Her scar....why show any concern at all? Why would her lying get under his skin so much? It seemed, under the surface, more than just any old job he's managed.
Had Jackson not targeted her...how would have the flirting at the airport between two strangers panned out? It played so brilliantly how something so simple could become your worst nightmare.
You're almost waiting for Jack to tell her "you know you wanted me....you would have been thrilled had I asked to see you again, etc...etc..."
Like many of us women, we would have been swooning over him too. Nice, handsome guy chatting you up? Buys you a drink....he leaves and you think "oh well...that's life" ...then you find out your sitting together on the plane...coincidence? I HOPE SO..............then the sh*te hits the fan.
Even when she proves to be stronger and smarter than he anticipated, he thinks 'i may steal you'... it attracts him more. He's a strong willed and powerful individual and seeing what he thought to be an easy target....
I could go on and on. We really don't know much about Jackson...and I think there's a story there. It's a shame someone doesn't capitalize on it.
