*nods head* The nominees won't come out for a looooong time but it's always exciting to hear news like this.

Too bad Cillian wasn't younger, like 28 because if it is true, and hypothetically..if he did win if he was 28 he could have been the youngest male for best Actor, since Adrien Brody was 29 I think.

I think it's weird that the movie they're considering for the nomination is Breakfast on Pluto. I guess it's just because I'm not that excited for it. But, BOP is only a limited release. It would make more sense for them to do Batman Begins or Red Eye, since they were more mainstream around the world. But, the movies have to be in between certain dates to be considered, I think.

Not entirely true. They pick the small films that don't show everywhere, sometimes. Any movie can make it.

Shannon, yeah you're correct that some films have to be submitted for consideration by a deadline.

Haha, I loved both movies so don't get me wrong, but I don't see how it would make sense for either Batman Begins or Red Eye to be nominated for an oscar. Just because they were more widely released doesn't make them "oscar"-material.

Very true. BoP might just be what they're looking for in a movie. We'll see.

Yep [rubs hands together in anticipation]. It could be just the thing. Great if it's nominated.

Oh well. I'll be rooting him for Best Actor, if he makes the cut. But, I more than likely won't be rooting for the movie. lol

No! Hahah. I'm not AFRAID. Lmao. I just think it's an odd movie. And whenever I see pictures for BoP, I think of Rocky Horror Picture Show. And that movie was horrible... lmfao. It's just different and not my taste.
