I think it's weird that the movie they're considering for the nomination is Breakfast on Pluto. I guess it's just because I'm not that excited for it. But, BOP is only a limited release. It would make more sense for them to do Batman Begins or Red Eye, since they were more mainstream around the world. But, the movies have to be in between certain dates to be considered, I think.

They pick the small films that don't show everywhere, sometimes. Any movie can make it.

Haha, I loved both movies so don't get me wrong, but I don't see how it would make sense for either Batman Begins or Red Eye to be nominated for an oscar. Just because they were more widely released doesn't make them "oscar"-material.
