heh - can you be a vego by association? Too funny, coming up with people we know are! My guy is, but I'm not. Don't eat much meat myself, but occasionally I just have to have a curry, or bacon & eggs. (I know you can get soy-pretendy bacon, but it has a nasty aftertaste!)

Hmmmm, maybe that's why Cill has his scarecrow-figure. Actually, Noman, you can get protein from nuts. I personally love meat, and cannot pass up chicken or a good quality steak! I don't know how they do it, but kudos to them!

Well, I'm a meat eater, but I can respect that. I have enough protein here.

Fair question there Noman, I was a bit concerned for my bloke when he started out on it, but now he's the healthiest he's ever been - his doctor hates him! Mushrooms spinach, eggs & tofu are all good sources, and as much variety in your diet as possible. You can't live on old hippy lentil soup. Cheers ~Ultra

Nice one Raine - just have a checkup and show your mum & dad the results, that will sort them out. My other half is from an Italian family - his dad carried on for months that he was damaging his health, etc... now two odd years later, dad is anaemic and has blood pressure problems, Shane's iron levels are through the roof, perfect choloesterol, you name it!
You do have to be a smarter cook to avoid meat - how do you find restaurants Raine & Skeetz, sick of "vegetarian risotto" yet? It's the usual staple of bad places who don't understand non meat eaters here. That or pasta Napoletana!
Cheers ~Ultra

I don't eat any red meat but I'd die without chicken. Plus I have amazingly low B12 levels and I'm aneamic and iron deficient - so I may literally die right now without the chicken.. LOL!
